I never fully understood what it was like to dream.  I was such a realist, I couldn’t see past today to imagine what could be.  My mother would often day-dream and share her ideas with me but I didn’t understand why she was, what I thought to be, wasting her time dreaming instead of just living it.  I made vision boards here and there but I only enjoyed the artistic aspect of them.  Despite my intent, they really held no importance to me.  Thankfully, God has opened my eyes.  I can see beyond where I am today and He has given me a whole new vision.  I have a dream!

I have a dream

Okay, I don’t just have a dream.  My dreams are overflowing!  This year God has placed many desires in my heart and I’m truly bursting with excitement and anticipation.  I am embarking on an incredible journey and I’m overjoyed to share one of those dreams with you.

I have decided to go back to school to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.  Nutrition is something I have always been extremely passionate about.  God has revealed a way when I thought there was no way.  Not only in this regard, but in so many areas of my life He has shown me how to make the impossible possible!  Yes, I am a mother of four children under the age of four, serving the Lord and returning to work in one month but I can do this!

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

I am also thrilled to mention I am entering this path with my best friend.  My mom and I are each enrolled and we’re ecstatic to expand our knowledge and begin this season together.

I have a dream.  Thank you God, my dreams are coming true and I couldn’t be happier!

  1. What a lovely, encouraging post. You know, I’ve been a Christian for a long time, and I am just coming to the realization that God puts dreams in our hearts — after all, He either puts the desire first, and accomplishes second, or does it the other way around — and the first way makes more sense, although it’s difficult when you have the dream but not the means, and are waiting for Him to fulfill!

I am happy for your dreams and hopes, and wish you the best as you walk this path.

    1. Wow! Thank you for taking the time to share those kind and thoughtful words. Yes, waiting is always the hard part isn’t it? 😉 That’s when our faith is tested and strengthened. Happy dreaming to you Carolyn! Blessings.
